SMTOWN just put up the music video for Red Velvet's 'Surfin' Boy (RAKUNELAMA Remix),' the newest official upload in this era.
This MV is part of 'iScreaM Vol.40: Surfin' Boy Remixes,' an entry in SM sub-label ScreaM Records' series that invites global DJs and producers to remix SM artists' songs.
The same release also comes with a Flamingosis remix, which got its own separate music video linked in the RAKUNELAMA upload's description, so there are two videos tied to this one single.
We've covered Red Velvet's original 'Surfin' Boy' MV and the group's 'Velvet Summer' release before, and this remix pack is the next official drop in that same stretch.
Context for International Fans
iScreaM is a remix series from SM's EDM label ScreaM Records, where outside DJs and producers each put out their own remix single of an SM artist's track. Vol. 40 is built around 'Surfin' Boy' and includes two separate remixer MVs, RAKUNELAMA and Flamingosis.
Why It Matters
It's another official video attached to the 'Surfin' Boy' rollout, giving the remix package two dedicated MVs instead of just audio releases.
What to Watch Next
Both the RAKUNELAMA and Flamingosis MVs are up now on SMTOWN's channel.
